Our Values

While there’s a lot of things we value, we focus on these four in the next season:

• People on Pilgrimage
  The Christian life calls us to be committed to a long journey of faith together. A pilgrimage is an adventure of seeking God in all aspects of life. Stepping out in faith, and continuing to partner with God to see his kingdom come.

• Relational Community
  Jesus invites all who follow him to be a part of a new family. We seek to be a welcoming whānau, committed to real relationship and loving one another. As we navigate the highs and lows of community we grow in maturity and Christlikeness.

• Discipleship to Jesus
  We are called to follow Jesus and become like him, being formed into his image as we abide in him and practice his way. The spirit guides and empowers us as we pray, teach scripture, and worship, playing our part in God’s big story.

• Body Ministry
  The church is the body of Christ and we believe each of us has something valuable to bring to the table, each a ministry of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4 is a foundational scripture for CCC - we love seeing people thrive in the gifts, talents, and skills God has given them.
